Datagram is a blockchain-agnostic, AI-driven networking layer that brings AWS-level scalability to decentralised infrastructure, already powering 200+ enterprises and 1M+ users globally. Over eight months, we built their entire brand from scratch: positioning, visual identity, mascot system, website, product UI/UX, and a go-to-market campaign that made complex infrastructure technology feel exciting.

Challenge

World-class infrastructure, no compelling story to match it

Datagram had world-class technology but faced a fundamental adoption problem, convincing people to stake real hardware resources on an unfamiliar brand while competing with AWS and explaining why decentralisation matters. They didn't just need users; they needed evangelists, and that required a story worth telling.

Our approach

Minimal, confident, institutional

We tackled it as a dual-brand challenge: enterprise-grade credibility paired with community personality. We repositioned Datagram around outcomes rather than architecture, created the 'Nodlets' mascot system to make DePIN feel approachable, and designed the node setup experience to feel like downloading an app. Two animated launch videos combined technical education with entertaining storytelling, driving 10,000 signups in the first 24 hours.
